Sunsets

I have frequently enjoyed watching sunsets.  Some of the best I have ever seem have been with great friends while having a sundowner.

This evening as I sit and eat in the sunset glow over Huntington Beach, California I am remembering a few of those times.

In Africa when I left the group with Dan, Heather and Pete, we finished several evenings in Ethiopia on our own with a few beers and a sunset. In fact, we hatched or plan to go to Axum and Lalibela by plane while having a sundowner.

This evening I am also reminded of the summer sunsets over the Olympic mountains that I watched from my porch or Alki Beach in Seattle.

Growing up in Colorado the sunsets over the front range mountains including Longs Peak were often magical!

There is something to the sunset and one over the ocean is even more interesting too...looking for the green flash
